Services

Integrated and intelligent design solutions are the cornerstone of what CTA provides for its clients. Regardless of the scale or scope of any project, our specialized teams work in conjunction with one another to deliver an exceptional end-product. From interior design to landscape architecture, and from state-of-the-art engineering to award-winning environments, CTA strives to deliver exceptional results.

Architectural

CTA’s work does not promote a particular engineering system or architectural style. Rather, we strive to give our designs purpose and meaning that is original because of its place. We believe this is best achieved through the artful integration of all design disciplines and sustainable, synergistic strategies. The result is architecture that uses regional materials appropriately, employs energy efficient systems within the framework of passive solutions, is sensitive to context and is a narrative for its place and function.

Exceptional process is the foundation for exceptional design. An open and collaborative process empowers our design team to be innovative, creative and provides the structure for the necessary integration that fosters sustainable strategies. We aim to exceed expectations, delight our clients, be responsible to the environment, create spaces that have memorable experiential qualities and have a great time doing it!

Market Analysis

CTA believes that a project must be grounded and based upon a solid market foundation. Much like the extensive engineering and structural expertise behind the many exceptional projects and buildings we create, we first and foremost understand that due diligence is a necessary step that occurs before any dirt is moved. It is this understanding that ensures we have the capacity and experience to undertake comprehensive Market-Driven Analyses, Demographic and Feasibility Studies for Retail, Office, Industrial and Hospitality projects comprising Mixed-Use, Transit-Oriented, Downtown, Suburban and Resort environments. Understanding and identifying Target Markets and End Users is an essential step for which CTA utilizes detailed Demographics and Consumer Surveys as critical empirical fundamentals for determining the optimal positioning, programmatic mix, layout and overall planning for a project, regardless of whether it is a single tenant or a comprehensive master plan.

Mechanical Engineering

CTA is a leader in providing innovative approaches to the most complex mechanical engineering projects. We constantly communicate with our architecture team to ensure that mechanical consideration is incorporated into every project. We are committed to lowering operation costs while providing solutions that work. Expertise in diverse markets, resources and a commitment to innovative solutions that reduce costs and meet accelerated schedules has earned CTA the reputation as an industry leader in engineering design.

Sustainability

Having a great diversity of building specialties integrated within CTA, we have wide-ranging opportunities to improve the environment. Our projects include natural refrigerant systems that reduce the global warming potential of grocery store refrigerant systems from 6,000 tons carbon dioxide to zero, biomass boilers using waste wood to generate power and heat, buildings designed for net zero energy and water use, and micro-hydro projects generating electricity from municipal water supplies.

Humans alter the environment with every building we construct. Driven by our sustainable design initiative, CTA is reducing the negative impact of buildings and envisioning restorative buildings in the future. We thrive on opportunities to challenge convention.
