CTA Seattle taken out to the ballgame (…taken out to the crowd)

CTA Seattle’s annual outing to a Mariners baseball game happened on a beautiful recent Wednesday afternoon. Some of us wanted to experience the adventure of public transportation so we walked to the bus, then hopped onto the light rail which dumped us close to Safeco Field. The wonderful smell of hot dogs, funnel cakes, spilled beer, and body odor filled the air as we took our seats.

A few of us, myself included, were severely distracted by the level of cuteness of project manager Brad Hamilton’s son. By the time we had all smiled at him, fed him continuously, and passed him around, hours had passed and the game was over! The M’s fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks, 8-2, but it didn’t matter because the team had a fantastic time.
